how it may look when you end therapy (sometimes sooner, sometimes later...)

It is a thing. Therapy doesn't have to last forever and a day. You can "graduate from therapy"! "Success at the end of treatment, based on trauma-informed, creative, and a client-centered approach, can be envisioned in several ways:

1. Enhanced Functioning: Clients will experience improved functioning in their daily lives, managing responsibilities and relationships more effectively and with greater ease.

2. Reduced Symptoms: The burdens of anxiety, depression, trauma, or OCD will no longer weigh heavily on their shoulders. Clients will have developed strategies to manage and reduce these symptoms, leading to a more balanced emotional state.

3. Increased Self-Awareness: Clients will have a deeper understanding of their emotions, behaviors, and thought patterns. This self-awareness allows them to recognize triggers and respond in healthier ways.

4. Strengthened Coping Mechanisms: Through our creative and tailored interventions, clients will have built a robust toolkit of coping mechanisms that they can rely on to navigate future challenges.

5. Empowered Decision-Making: Clients will feel more empowered and confident in making decisions, setting boundaries, and advocating for their needs.

6. Healing from Trauma: Clients will have processed and integrated past traumatic experiences, leading to a sense of healing and closure. They will feel safer and more secure in their bodies and environments.

7. Resilience and Growth: Clients will leave therapy with a sense of resilience and an ability to adapt to new situations. They will have grown through the therapeutic process, gaining insights and strengths that will support their ongoing journey.

8. Achievement of Personal Goals: Clients will have made progress towards, or achieved, the personal goals they set at the beginning of treatment, whether these are related to career, relationships, or personal development.

9. Sustained Well-Being: Ultimately, success means that clients have attained a sustained sense of well-being and fulfillment. They feel equipped to maintain their mental health independently and have a positive outlook on their future. Success is deeply personal and will look different for each client, but these elements provide a framework for the positive outcomes that can be achieved through our work together.

These are all the things that can happen in our work together. I care about you and your path to recovery and healing. Are you ready to make room in your life for this to occur? I'm waiting for YOU!
